Diane has experience of educational leadership at school, regional and national level. She specialises in leadership learning, policy development and school improvement. She is an educational innovator and creative thinker committed to building capacity for a school led system. Diane consistently promotes and facilitates activities related to capacity building, collaboration and the use of evidence in education.

In 2009 Diane became the Lead Associate for The National College for School Leadership and was responsible for leading the work around school to school support, succession planning, leadership development and professional learning across the North of England.

Diane currently provides consultancy to the Teaching School Council, Outwood Institution of Education and The Education Endowment Foundation working closely with school leaders and other partners to inspire and facilitate local solutions with a relentless focus on children’s learning, achievement and well-being.

Diane is Chair of the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a newly formed MAT established by an outstanding post sixteen provider.
