Andrew Morrish, National Education Leader

Andrew is founder Chief Executive of Victoria Academies, a multi academy trust in the West Midlands, currently consisting of five primary schools and a SCITT teacher training centre (Central England Teacher Training). As well as CEO, Andrew is the Executive Headteacher of two schools: Victoria Park Academy, which he led from special measures to outstanding in exactly one thousand days and more recently, Rowley Park Academy, previously in special measures and sponsored by Victoria Park. Victoria Park Academy was shortlisted for the TES School of the Year in 2013 and is one of the highest achieving schools in England.

Prior to this, Andrew was the Headteacher in East London of one of the largest primary schools in the country with almost one thousand pupils, a school that he also led to outstanding. He is passionate about the role creativity, social enterprise (check out @thespiceacademy) and innovation can play in creating standout schools.

Andrew is a National Leader of Education, a trained Ofsted inspector and Fellow of the RSA. He speaks at conferences on transformational school leadership and writes for national newspapers such as The Guardian. Andrew blogs at and can be found on Twitter @AndrewDMorrish.
